Word of the Day

Fuckerated, v. to be frustrated.

Used in a sentance: "Mommy, I'm fuckerated!"

For a few weeks there, the terrible twos were appearing with a vengence (late in the game - so we're thankful!) When Caleb would get really upset he was biting his own arm. We reminded him to use his words because teeth are NOT for biting. Last week, when things weren't going his way he used his words and told me, "Mommy, I'm fuckerated!" Trying not to laugh I asked him if he meant "frusterated." He said, "Yeah, fuckerated." Not sure where he picked up the "F" bomb cause I know that's definitely not one I let slip. I corrected him a few more times and he is now saying the word correctly, oh, and he's not biting anymore either. :)

Veggie Tales

Caleb has a fairly large vocabulary and has been speaking in sentences (paragraphs even) for some time now. When we are out in public people are often amazed on how clearly he speaks. Of course, because he's so small they usually think he's a one year old genius!

Last night, Caleb said something that would make any parent proud.

"LET'S EAT VEGGIES!!"

And even more surprising is that he ate the veggies (well, except for the carrots for some reason he doesn't like the carrots). Let's hope it wasn't just a fluke!

Happy New Year

Wishing everyone many blessing in 2007!

We had a great time in SoCal this Christmas. Caleb loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa, Tio's and Tia's. Since we've been home he's "play" called them several times to ask what they are doing. We spent longer than normal down there which made it much harder to leave.

His Tio Joseph and Tia Amy bought him a very cool Thomas the train set which blows steam (well, really it's a cold mist but still very cool). It's such a fun toy that my brothers and I were sad to give Caleb a turn! Caleb loves it.
